NOTE: Oregon has a tax credit for political donations. You can contribute to IPO per year up to $50 for individuals or $100 for couples filing jointly and get it all back when you file your 2024 Oregon income tax return (in 2025). You can do that, if:

You are an Oregon resident.
You will submit an Oregon tax return for 2024 (in 2025).
Your 2024 adjusted gross income was less than $75,000 (or $150,000 for couples filing jointly).

If the state owes you a refund, they will add it to your refund check. This is a tax credit, not a deduction, so every dollar comes back to you!
